CANCELED ORDERS:

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at any time if the shipping cost exceeds the total value of your order. This may be done without prior notification or communication with the customer. Please note that while we strive to ship orders to you efficiently, there are circumstances where the shipping cost can be excessively high due to your location or global shipping events that are out of our control. 

SHIPPING TERMS: 

We appreciate your interest in our products and value your business. Please find below our shipping terms and conditions for your reference:

Standard Shipping: For smaller items, we offer FREE worldwide shipping via air freight, with a typical delivery timeframe of 14-30 days. Please note that this timeframe may vary based on your location.

Special Orders and Larger Items: Larger items that are not in stock or require custom production through pre-order will be shipped via sea-freight worldwide. The delivery period for these items ranges from 30-60 days, contingent upon your location. We strive to ensure timely delivery, and your patience during this process is greatly appreciated.

Duties & Taxes: For international orders outside of New Zealand, customers are responsible for covering any applicable local duties and taxes. It is important to understand that we are unable to predict or control the regulations of each country, and thus, we do not include these charges in your purchase. For our valued customers in New Zealand, all relevant duties and taxes are incorporated into the sale price, providing you with a hassle-free shopping experience.

NEW ZEALAND ROAD LAWS - NZTA 

NZTA laws - Any changes you make to your vehicle must not put you or others at increased risk when you’re on the road. That’s why any modifications you do make may need a low volume vehicle (LVV) certification to get a warrant of fitness (WoF). 

Before you order and fit any KATIPŌ 4X4 parts we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to check that they will be fit for purpose within New Zealand and within the NZTA laws.

All of the KATIPŌ 4X4 aftermarket parts, are sold for off-road use only within New Zealand. All performance modifications and installations are at the customers own risk. SOUP DISTRIBUTION LTD and KATIPŌ 4X4 hold no responsibility either implied or otherwise for mechanical, electrical or other failure when using any aftermarket products. Items sold for off-road use only are illegal in many parts of the world and are intended for vehicles which may never be used on a public road. 

By purchasing any aftermarket product, the customer takes full responsibility for any use, and/or misuse of the product and agrees that SOUP Distribution LTD and KATIPŌ 4X4 holds no responsibility for any consequences, legal, or other, of such use and/or misuse. 

 

REFUND POLICY:

All items sold in our online store can be returned for an, exchange or credit. If an item is defective, damaged, not as advertised, not compatible with the application listed in the description, we will credit the full amount, including shipping, or exchange the item for another. However we do not offer refunds if you have ordered the incorrect product for your application. This is why it is important that you speak to us first about what you wish to order and notify us on all the specifications of your vehicle to insure the correct fitment.

We are not liable if the workshop or installer you choose is unable to correctly install any products. In such cases, products can be returned, and a store credit will be issued with a 25% restocking fee deducted.

 If an item is damaged in transit, you must notify us within 5 business days of the delivery date. All shipments are insured for the full value. When your parts arrive please check them for damage on delivery while to driver is still present. If an item is damaged we will ship you a replacement part as soon as we can, at no charge. You will have to return the damaged parts to us, again at no charge to you.

If an item is defective before you install it, or simply not as advertised, you have 30 days from the shipping date, to return that item to us for a hassle free refund, of the full amount including shipping, or exchange. This refund is processed into your bank account at the full amount of the sale. 

If an item is defective after you install it, provided that it was installed correctly, and that the warranty of that item is still valid, we will send you a replacement free of charge as soon we can, as long as we have stock on that item. If we do not have stock. You will need to return the defective part to us and we will refund it directly into your account. We will also send a replacement part first before the refund. 

If an item is brand new and in good condition but simply not needed, you can still return that item for a full credit to be used on any other parts within our store. Once we receive the parts and verify that they are all in good condition, we will credit your order, minus the shipping cost and a 25% restocking fee.  ( WHY THE 25% RESTOCKING FEE? ) If a box has been opened and packaging removed and or the product has been test fitted we are now unable to list and sell this part as brand new. We will now need to list this product as a display unit or at clearance sale where we offer the 25% Discount on this returned product to sell it to a new customer. 

 

FREE RETURN SHIPPING POLICY:

We will pay for the return shipping of any item that is defective, damaged in transit, not as advertised or not compatible with an application listed in the description. To have your return shipping paid for, please package up your parts and let us know the weight and dimensions. We will then email you a prepaid shipping label to be placed on the package. 

When ever possible, we encourage that you pack your parts to be returned in the original packaging.

If you are in Auckland we encourage you to come by our office and return your parts in person.  

To return or exchange an item, you must first contact Customer Service by email, SOUPdistribution@gmail.com, or phone, 0211057774 With Customer Service you can establish if you will be getting a refund or simply exchanging a product.

A picture is worth a thousand words. If an item is defective or was damaged in transit, please take pictures of the defect or damage. Send those pictures to Customer Service when you contact them about your return. This makes things much easier and speeds up the process for getting your replacement parts or money back.

 

Clearance Sale Products: 

Any products sold under and as clearance sale are being sold at below their cost price of the goods. These are either end of line or last of the stock. This means they can NOT be replaced or refunded for any reason under the normal Refund Policy mentioned above.  All Clearance products are otherwise considered to be SOLD AS IS WHERE IS and should be inspected first to make sure you are fully satisfied with the product before accepting to purchase it.
